FOREWORD

We are happy to present to the readers this series of twenty-three Divine Discourses delivered by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu State, India.

Many devotees of Bhagavan Baba residing both in Halifax, Canada and in other places, contributed time and effort to do selfless service not only directly as a service to their Master, Bhagavan Baba, but also to provide an opportunity for these fresh and fragrant words of Love and Wisdom to be available for seekers of Truth everywhere to morally and spiritually uplift themselves.

These Discourses were drawn from notes taken by Maduri Kara (Whitefield, India), and Gunjan Sahni (Ottawa, Canada), and the Tamil edition of the 1996 Discourses for the use of which we are very grateful.

Most of the computer processing to prepare the camera-ready copy was carried out by Tilak and Risini Gunawardhane, Swarna Weerasinghe and Krishangi Malawiarachchi, with the help of Amiya Khara.

The editing of the drafts was carried out by Neetha Weeratna, Pooja Kapahi and V.R.N. Sastry, and Saroj Sivapiragasam.

This project was initiated and coordinated by Pooja Kapahi after obtaining Bhagavan Baba's Blessing. On March 18, 1997, in His Whitefield ashram Baba placed His palm atop the final draft copy in blessing and told me to print it.
