* A bubble is on water and merges in water. Man is born in God
and merges in God.
* A characterless man is like a pot with many holes, useless
for carrying water or storing it.
* A clean uncontaminated mind is like a fully blossomed
fragrant rose. It refreshes and pleases. It can raise and reach
the foot-stool of God in heaven.
* A discontented man is as bad as lost. A man without love is
as good as dead.
* A person might be an expert in any field of knowledge or a
master of many material skills and accomplishments. But without
inner cleanliness his brain is a desert waste.
* A man who has love for God is like the traveller with a
ticket; he need not be afraid of any one while making his journey.
* A moment of concentrated prayer from heart is enough to melt
and move God; hours of shouting do not count.
* A life of sadhana involves the dedication of all acts to God,
the offering of whatever one does or thinks or speaks at the feet
of God.
* A healthy body is the best container for a healthy mind. A
healthy heart is the temple of God.
* A pure thought from a pure heart is better than a mantra.
* Act as you speak, speak as you feel. Do not play false to
your own conscience by forcibly enslaving it and embarking on
actions not approved by it.
* A virtuous character is the lamp which illumines the path to
peace and joy.
* Act and then advise. Practice first precept next.
* Activity is the keynote of the universe. It must be dedicated
to God, the Highest Good.
* Divine is the wine that must intoxicate you.
* Life is the car, your heart is the key,
* God is the chauffeur, Surrender to Him and be rid of further
bother,
* Travel safe and arrive happy.
* Life is an opportunity afforded to each not to eat and drink,
but to achieve something nobler and higher to merge in the Reality.
* A son has no greater duty, no higher good, than serving his

I have come to light the lamp of love in your hearts, to see
that it shines day by day with added luster.
I have come not to disturb or destroy any faith, but to confirm
each in his own faith - so that the Christian becomes a better

You cannot see Me, but I am the Light you see by.
You cannot hear Me, but I am the Sound you hear by.
You cannot know Me, but I am the Truth by which you live.
The Lord will be watching with a thousand eyes the least
activity of man to discover any slight trace of selfless love
sweetening it.
Bear all and do nothing;
Hear all and say nothing;
Give all and take nothing;
Serve all and be nothing.
Make your life a rose that speaks silently in the language of
the heart.
Hands that help are holier than lips that pray.
Learn to give, not to take. Learn to serve, not to rule.
The Grace of God is like insurance. It will help you in your
time of need without any limit.
Action with Love is Right Conduct.
Speak with Love and it becomes Truth.
Thinking with Love results in Peace.
Understanding with Love leads to non-violence.
Yesterday has deceived you and gone, tomorrow is a doubtful
visitor. Today is a fast friend, hold fast to it.
Wealth that you hoard is not yours, wealth that you have given
is really yours.
Your virtue is your shield, your vice is the weapon that
inflicts wounds on you.

what use is it to honour the Avatar and hold the day when the
Avatar took human form as sacred? The Message of the Avatar must
be born, must become alive, must grow in you, your heart-that is
the Birthday, you have to celebrate. Celebrate the Birthday in
your own village. You need not travel long distances to where I
physically am! Plant the seeds of Love in your hearts. Jet them
grow into trees of Service and shower the sweet fruit of Ananda.
Share the Ananda with all. That is the proper way to celebrate the
