Sai Baba materializes the stolen jewels
A woman had
lost her valuable jewels while sleeping on the verandah of
herhouse. She had gone to witness a temple festival, and had
returned so tired that she went to a very sound sleep. She was
wearing golden bangles, a necklace, ornaments on her hair and
other sundry jewellery. A thief saw her sleeping soundly and
relieved her of all this jewellery. The police, to whom she had
made complaint the next day, could not succeed in solving the
crime. Ten years later, she was told by a friend that, if she went
to Swami, He was sure to tell her where the stolen jewels were.
The friend pursuaded her that He was her only hope and that she
should go to Swami and pray to Him. She reached Puttaparthi and
prayed to Swami that He must help her in getting back her stolen
jewels. By a mere wave of is hand, Swami materialised at once all
the stolen jewels intact, complete with the initials of the woman
on htem, as they had been before theywere stolen.
