Every
year before Baba’s birthday the students of Prasanthi and
Vrindavan stage a drama in front of all devotees in Sai
Kulwant Hall. These dramas are entirely directed by Baba
with Sri. Sandeepan Chatterjee acting as an ideal
instrument. In the year 1998 , the dramas were based on
the theme of “The great Indian Seers” featuring some of
the great Indian Seers like Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa ,
Sant Kabira , Saint Ramdas and likewise. As always, the
artists involved prayed to Baba to select the costumes for
their roles.
All the dresses were
selected and finalised except the costume of Sri Vivekananda. One song
for his scene was also left to be composed. As students in the drama
were sitting for an interview, they informed Baba about the dress not
yet been finalised. Baba said -- Abhi tak finalise nahi hua kya?
Thik hai. Abhi kar lete hai.(Has it not been finalised yet?All right.
Right now we shall do it.).Baba sat in His chair. For a few moments
He was silent. His eyes were still and He was writing something in the
air (as He does so many times).
He said slowly -----
“When Naren (that
was how Baba Vivekananda was known before he came to Sri Ramakrishna
Paramahamsa) first met Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa , he was wearing a
white kurta pyjama with strips on them.”
, then Baba closed His eyes , opened them again said -- “Chalo ,
Costume ka intejam ho jayega na ? (Ok , The costume will be arranged ,
Won’t it be?”. “Yes , Baba.” said the students in one
voice.
Sai Baba often says
“Time and space exist only on a physical plane. On the atmic level ,
there is no space , no time .On the physical plane itself , the past
lingers on some phase. Avatars, sages and all humans who have evolved
themselves spiritually can enter that phase and so is the case with
future.”.
Baba once said --
“The past, the present and the future , I know all.” and that’s what
He proved that day.
