In Shirdi
Sariram (incarnation at Shirdi), Baba had said: "My eye is ever
on those who love Me".... "Whatever you do, wherever you may be,
ever bear this in mind that I am always aware of everything you
do" ...."if one meditates on Me, respects My name and sings
about My deeds, he is transformed and his KARMA is destroyed. I
stay by his side always ..."
"If one
perpetually thinks of Me and makes Me his sole refuge, I become
his debtor and will give My head to save him l am the bond
slave of my devotee. I love devotion. He who withdraws his heart
from the world and loves Me, is My true lover and he MERGES in
ME like a river in the sea".
If you make
Me the sole object of your thoughts and aims, you will gain
PARAMATMA".
Look to me
and I will look to you ..."
"Trust in
the Guru fully. This is the only SADHANA. Guru is all the Gods
.... Repeat My name. Seek refuge in me. But to know who I am
practice SRAVANA and MANANA".

protection of the good, for the destruction of the wicked and

Bhagavan
Sri Sathya Sai Baba has said:
"Come unto
Me all ye who suffer. lf you take one step towards Me, I take
ten steps towards you." "Put all your faith in Me; I shall guide
and guard you." "I am the servant of everyone. You can call Me
by any name, I will respond, for all names are Mine." "Come, I
am the repairer of broken hearts, of damaged anthahkarnas'. I am
like the smith who welds, mends and sets right."
Your joy is
the food I subsist on. Your Anandam is My Aharam." " Don't crave
from Me trivial material objects, crave for ME and you will be
rewarded."
"My task is
to help the devotees to live happily and guide them along the
path of liberation till they attain the Goal."
"This is a
human form, in which every Divine entity, every Divine Principle,
that is to say all the names and forms ascribed by men to God,
are manifest . . . . . . "
"I first
give people what they want so that later on they may want what I
have come to give, namely, liberation itself."
"Take as
much 'ananda' as you can from Me and leave with Me all your
sorrows, I shall carry all your burdens

HOW THIS BOOKLET SAW THE LIGHT OF THE DAY:
At the time
when Bhagavan Baba blessed the release of the Sindhi Granth "SHIRDI
SAI BABA" (536 Pages-Demi Size) at Puttaparthi, there arose a
Providential inspiration impulsively, to cull together, all
available information on the Oneness of the two Sais.
This Divine
benediction prompted the thought ripples in the deep recesses of
the mind, to publish the SAI PRAKASH SERIES (2), entitled, "SHIRDI
SAI AND SATHYA SAI ARE ONE AND THE SAME."
Not only did
Baba inspire the same, but also showered His Divine Grace. I t
would be opportune to mention at this stage that even in the
Sindhi Granth "SHIRDI SAI BABA", the chapter No. 16, from Pages
45 2 to 4 88 also bears the same title.
The
undersigned, under the spell of the Divine Inspiration,
approached Dr. Vinod Malhotra and his wife Dr. Neeru Malhotra,
to join in and commence the translation of the said Chapter No.
16, which the Malhotras most willingly did. However, a doubt
arose in their minds as to how the funds would be available for
printing and publishing the booklet. Needless to say, that the
ways of the Lord are indeed inimitable and majestically
mysterious. Within a few days, a Gentleman, God's good soul,
from the Middle East, who prefers to remain anonymous (hence we
are constrained to keep out his identity), came seeking the
whereabouts of Baba, at that time.
Apparently a
mere coincidence (but a definite Divine design),a mention was
made to him regarding this booklet. He came forth spontaneously
with a liberal love-offering of Rupees six-thousand towards the
cost, which would have sufficed to meet the printing and
publishing charges of the size and the number of pages (50/60)
contemplated at that time. The total cost of the booklet(3000
copies) has now almost reached five figures.
As Bhagavan
would have it, it seemed that He wanted more matter to go into
the booklet and so He bided time, and in the meanwhile motivated
to collect more proofs of the SAMENESS of both the Avatars. Thus,
it was only after a hectic, continuous effort, compressed during
the short span of 40 days, between December 1982 and January
1983 ,that this booklet could be finalised.
Not out of
modesty, but out of confirmed conviction and faith, it must be
confessed that this whole booklet is a Physical Manifestation
of the Divine thought process, in which phenomena, we were used
as mere 'plumes'. It is our fortunate experience that we have
only played our part as actors on the stage in front of the
floodlights. It has been the Divine Director, who from behind
the curtain, directed and prompted the flow of the drama, with
all the ups and downs inherent in such a role. While on the
stage, to win the benediction of the
Divine
Director, sincere efforts, genuine endeavours, honest attempts
were made to play the assigned roles to the maximum human
capacity.
Were it not
for the Inspiration, Instructions, Intelligence, Guidance and
Grace of both the Forms of our Beloved Lord, we wonder whether
this booklet would have ever seen the light of the day.
We feel
blessed indeed to have become the tools in the hands of the
Master Mechanic for the fulfillment of His Divine Design and the
Great Plan, He has come to unfold.
We are ever
more convinced that whatever is done with sincere faith and
devotion, has Baba's immense Grace and Blessings.
In the
modern work a day busy life, full of its stresses, strains and
vicissitudes it is difficult for all to find time and perhaps
means to read and know the available literature. The magnitude
and the vastness of Divinity is indeed immeasurable and beyond
the ken of humans to describe and narrate. The best of best,
clearest of the clear and purest of the pure effort is only a
microscopic pigmy and a dwarf before the gargantuan dimensions
of even the smallest and tiniest fraction of the Divine. Any
amount of rhetoric can only serve as, yet another pointer,
towards the Divine Majesty. With these laudable objectives, this
our best endeavour, insignificant and infinitesimal as it is,
may serve to provide valuable information, in a nutshell.
May this
booklet become an instrument of creation and restoration of
faith in the minds of devotees for both the Sais and of
spirituality among the populace on this planet, in the age of
rapidlv waning faith.
May this
booklet be a signpost for all humanity pointing to a new Era
(Golden Age) permeated by SATYAM_SIVAM_SUNDARAM.
With sincere
obeisance and profound sense of gratitude, we dedicate this
humble effort and these 'flowers' of heartfelt and true love and
devotion, in the form of this booklet, at the Lotus Feet of our
Beloved Sais.
