AN EXHIBITION
ON NAMASANKIRTAN
OM SRI SAI RAM
An Exhibition called "Sai Nama Kirtana Kali
Yuga Sadhana" was organized at Brindavan,
Whitefied, Bangalore on the 28th & 29th of
May 2005 under the auspices of the Spiritual
Wing Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations,
Karnataka. This exhibition was sponsored and
arranged by the members of Brindavan Gents
Bhajan Group.
Bhagawan graciously inaugurated this
exhibition on the morning of Saturday, 28th
May at 9:20 am and visited all the pavilions
of the exhibition.
HE was explained about the theme and content
of the exhibition by the members of the
group.
Bhagawan out of HIS infinite Love, spent
more than 25 minutes at the exhibition.
This Exhibition comprised of 6 pavilions:
Introduction , Bhava, Raga, Tala, Bharatha &
Brindavan.
It had both written content with posters
displaying eye-catching images of swami and
other deities describing in detail the
Evolution of music, Greatness of Indian
music, Music & Spirituality, Significance of
Bhava, Raga, and Tala in Sai Bhajans; And
the greatness of Bharata and also briefly
portraying the lives of Saints, Sages and
Musicians who all attained liberation
through Namasmarana. Brindavan pavilion
described briefly the history and present
glory of this ashram.
An interesting & observing aspect in this
exhibition was the Audio-Visual section for
each of the pavilions separately describing
the significant points of the theme in
details vividly described by a background
commentary.
The Raga pavilion had a unique interactive
section where a sample of 27 bhajans were
made to appear on a computer screen and one
could just click the mouse on a particular
bhajan song and not only the bhajan can be
heard but also details of the Raga of the
Bhajan the Aarohan and Aavarohan of that
Raga also can be viewed for the information
of the devotees.
There was a huge turnout of devotees on both
the days of the exhibition who went round
the pavilions with a lot of interest and
awe. This proved to be educative to most of
the devotees according to the feed back
given by them.
Incidentally, the chief minister of
Gujarat...Mr. Narender Modi was also present
and viewed the exhibition along with
Bhagawan.
This was a humble offering by the Karnataka
State on the Occasion of the 80th Birthday
of Bhagawan.
