Prashanthi Bullettin
May 12th
2005
After a wonderful Darshan on the 8th of May 2005
(as described in our previous update), there was no Darshan on
the morning of the 9th. However, in the evening, Swami came out
for Bhajans and also witnessed a cultural programme put up by
the Bangalore Balvikas children, on the life of the well known
Saint Basvanna.
The 10th was a sad day for all the devotees. As you may know,
when Swami was coming out in the morning walking all the way
from Trayee Brindavan to the Sai Ramesh Hall, His Body fell and
Bhagawan's right Hand suffered a fracture. The brothers around
helped Him to get up and Swami sat on the Golf Cart and with all
that pain, He took a full round of the Ramesh Hall giving
Darshan and also receiving letters! That is Divine Love and
Transcendence!
Later, a cast was put for the fracture to heal. There was no
Darshan on the 11th. Devotees and everybody around were
wondering when they would have His Darshan again. But can
anything keep the Lord away from His devotees. No force on this
earth or in the three worlds can come in the way of the Lord and
His devotees!
Came 12th morning. All devotees were seated in Sai Ramesh Hall
knowing fully well that Bhagawan may not come out for giving
Darshan. But still, they were all there as usual. Minutes ticked
by. Hours ticked by. It was already 9.00 a.m. Hopes were fading
away.
At 9.30 a.m. the usual hush hush - and He came out of Trayee in
the special Toyota car 'Porte' and proceeded to Sai Ramesh Hall.
The Bhajan Maha Ganapate Namostute.... was going on just as He
was entering the Sai Ramesh Hall from the ladies side. Brother
Satyajit was driving the car and Swami was seated in the left
seat. This hi-tech 'Porte' car was the same one that Bhagawan
talked about and showed all of us during the Christmas
celebrations last year in December 2004. Just to remind you,
here is an excerpt from that update regarding the wonder car!
(25th December 2004 Update Excerpt) ....Then
came the best part! Swami asked brother Satyajit to present a
demo to all of us. It was 3.55 p.m. All heads stretched out to
watch the wonder! Brother Satyajit sat in the driver's seat and
pressed a button. Lo! The door of the car on the other side slid
open so smoothly! Then another press of a button and the seat
next to the driver, slowly came forward, took a 90 degree turn
and then smoothly glided outside the framework of the car.
Having glided outside, it then lowered itself and came to ground
level and halted!
Brother Satyajit, came out, unbuckled the seat and wheeled it in
front of Swami! There was a loud applause from all. Bhagawan
smiled and asked him to fix it back again. He took the seat and
buckled it back. He took the drivers seat and pressed the
button. Just as it had glided out, it raised itself, went in,
took a turn and locked itself in perfect position! My, what a
marvel! Technology and Robotics at its best!
We felt that finally Science and Technology had seen its
fulfillment today as it offered itself, at its best, to its
Creator! Could there be a better purpose that it could have
served other than facilitating and providing convenience to our
dear Lord? If only, S&T were put to only beneficial uses such as
these, the world would have been a much better place to live
in!...................
Bhagawan came down
the centre pathway and exited Sai Ramesh Hall near the Saraswati
Statue. Then to everybody's delight, He re-entered the Ramesh
Hall from the ladies side and went past the Ganesha idol. Just
at that time Brother Rajkumar Jain rushed up to the stage and
removed the Chair that was kept for Swami. In a few minutes it
became clear why.
Bhagawan came out of the car in the same seat that He was
sitting inside the car and was wheeled onto the elevator and
then onto the stage. Just when He took up His position in the
middle of the stage, the Bhajan 'Satya Dharma Shanti Prema
Swaroopa' was being sung. There were a number of high tempo
Bhajans being sung- Radhe Govinda Bhajo Radhe Gopala Bhajo...,
Vanamali Radha Ramana ..., etc. He was keeping beat with His
left hand. The right hand was covered with a shawl and He was
using the handkerchief too with His left hand.
Bhagawan was on the stage for about 30 minutes and everyone had
Darshan to their hearts' content.
Bhagawan asked for Aarati just as the 1st line of the Bhajan
Nandalala Nandalala was being sung.... and after Aarati, He went
to the back of the stage, where the car was already waiting for
Him.
It was a wonderful experience overall.
In the afternoon, Bhagwan came out at 4.15 p.m. The backdoor on
the stage welcomed Swami onto the stage. He was wheeled in the
same chair that is part of the Toyota car. Bhagawan sat for
Bhajans till around 4.45 p.m. Then he returned through the same
door and went inside Trayee.
